Light Curl Kit

(Bolt-on Upgrade) Reduces misses caused by curled signatures in the area of the transfer drum. Adjustable guides further cradle thin signatures to the dipper levers while a new T gripper cam profile maximizes opportunity to grasp stubborn signatures. Greatly increases hopper productivity and reduces waste.

Easy access governor pin.

This handy upgrade allows tooless access to the main governor pin without removing the sig pile. Can be easily reached from both sides of the hopper.  Feed pawl, and improved secondary bearing failsafe system included.

Heavy Duty Pull Up Wheels

Pinch Wheel Assembly: (Bolt-on upgrade) Does not twist, warp, or lean over like the stock pullup wheel assemblies. Increases longevity and reduces expensive primary drum wear. Available for P-15 ~ P-311 ~ P-2 hoppers.

Stainless Steel Primary Drum

(Bolt-on Upgrade) Our deep stainless protective drums eliminates dishing and wash-boarding as seen with standard drums. Longevity will pay for itself in 1 drum change, *plus all the Teflon tape and frustrations that will be saved per hopper.

Heavy Duty Drag System

(Bolt-on Upgrade) Based on the Higgins Drag, Our drags are heavier duty, wider, and have a broader check eye target area which is also recessed to protect the reflector. A new compound wiper and check eye sensor operate independent of each other, giving the operator maximum flexibility to control the signature. All these enhancements give longevity, durability, and a surperior book delivered out of the inserter area.

Selective Towers (Top Hats)

Allows selectivity to be placed in manual, off, or automatic at each hopper. Operators can select functions as needed via well indicated select switches.

Push Style Inhibit

(Bolt -on Upgrade) Upgrades the P-15's mechanical hook style Latchout assembly to the P-311's simpler and longer lasting push style. Eliminates 'bumping' between multiple latched books. User needs to control timing of the Latchout.

Adjustable Jogging Board

Allows 1 of 3 height positions to be selected. In low position, walk-up boards can be eliminated.

Billet Clamp Actuator

COVER FEEDER UPGRADE

Eccentric pivot sucker swing bolt

For P-311 and P-15 hoppers equipped with the Push style Latchout cylinders. This eccentric bolt for the sucker swing actuating lever can be tuned with a wrench easily setting up the latched stroke. This is easier than adjusting the cylinder jam nut and bolt

Feeder Training / Test Stand

Allows a hopper to test run independent of the line for troubleshooting or training. Includes onboard silent vacuum generation, blowdown, Latchout, kick out clutch, hopper electrical test lights, remote controls, and other handy features. Servo models can reverse feed anywhere on the line without complex chain drives and guarding issues. Our single convertible stand will fit a P-15 ~ P-2 ~ P-311 ~ FF100 ~ FF-155 ~ FF-150 ~ FG ~ RG and Muller martini hoppers.

Latch Out (Standard)

(Bolt -on Upgrade) Allows feeder to inhibit a sig pull on command. Latching lever allows 'set and forget' timing. See our P-311 'Push Style Inhibit' for the most modern design.

LMI Vacuum Opener

This handy in-line vacuum setup allows no adjustment or timing of the opener drum. For zero or reverse lap opening, ask us for our curved transfer drum sucker tubes which grips, wraps, and pulls the sig in 6 places.

On the Fly Adjustments

Allows operators to adjust the governor pin and stripper needles on the fly, without having to remove the sig pile from the hopper. Reduces make-ready time. Also avilable are remote controls for the opener grippers, vacuum transfer, vacuum open, and register stop.

Super Short Sig Kit

Allows the P-15 hopper signature stop to lower all the way down to the sig guide bar. Can open cards and envelopes as small as 2". Comes with guides to prevent envelope glue flaps from opening.
